DONNA GILBRETH TO HEAD REFERENCE AND INFORMATION SERVICES SECTION
Donna Gilbreth, Supervisor of Library Services to Persons with Disabilities Section, has been named the new Supervisor of Reference and Information Services at the N.H. State Library. She will begin her new position on July 1, 2004 succeeding John McCormick who has retired after working 24 years at the State Library.
Donna came to the State Library in October 1981 as a Reference Librarian. In March 2001 she assumed supervision of the State Library's Talking Books services located in the Dolloff Building in Concord, taking over after Eileen Keim's retirement. She will now return to 20 Park Street to oversee all aspects of customer service, reference service, document delivery and interlibrary loan. Donna has been a member of the READS (Reference and Adult Services Section) of the N.H. State Library since 1987, as well as a conference planning committee member of NHLA in 1994. She has been an elected board member of the Franklin School District since 1995 and a member of the Franklin Business and Professional Women's Club since 1986.
Donna is also credited with the State Library publications New Hampshire Authors; Books About New Hampshire, and Granite Bits newsletter. We all welcome her back to the Reference Department and look forward to her contributions to the New Hampshire information scene. |
