July 7-14 - Portsmouth Gundalow Edwards H. Adams -- The Adams will tie up on the waterfront of the Wentworth-Gardner House in Portsmouth's historic South End. July 9-Aug 27 - Dixville Notch Flower Garden Tours -- Throughout the summer, flower garden tours with The BALSAMS gardeners will take place every Wednesday starting on July 9th and ending on August 27th. July 10-13 - Hillsborough Hillsborough Balloon Fest and Fair -- Hot air balloon launches at 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. There will be a carnival with midway, tractor pulls, mud bog, 5K road race and entertainment. July 12 - Moultonborough 26th Annual Loon Festival -- Celebrate summer and learn about the Common Loon at the Loon Festival! Activities include crafts for kids, Mr. Phil, Balloonologist Extraordinaire and Dimples the Clown. Games include "Stump the Biologist" dunk tank, Pin the Chick on the Loon, and a nature scavenger hunt. July 12 - Keene 4th Annual New Hampshire Chili Cook-Off and Family Day -- The day will feature both red and green chilis and salsa produced by outstanding chili cooks, who will be competing for $1,250 in cash prizes and the chance to enter the national cook-off. There will also be music, kid's games, a giant bouncy castle, clowns, balloons, and face painting. 12:00 noon-5:00 p.m. National Grange parking area, downtown Keene. Admission is $5.00 for adults. July 13 - Gilford Sunday on the Meadow Craft Fair -- This craft show will feature artisans from all over the east coast. July 13 - Canterbury Lavender Day -- A variety of speakers will present the Shakers' culinary, medicinal and practical uses of lavender.
