COURSE CATALOG AVAILABLE ONLINE
The State Library online course catalog (www.state.nh.us/nhsl/training/course.html) is now listing a variety of courses that you should register for posthaste! Registration forms are available from the same website. NO PAPER COURSE CATALOG WILL BE SENT TO YOU (if you cannot access the web, please contact Tom Ladd at tladd@library.state.nh.us). The New NHU-PAC training dates and sites will soon be listed. The Database Searching workshops are free and offered in Concord at the State Library. Workshops include: American Fact Finder; AncestryPlus; Consumer Health; EBSCOhost Administration; EBSCOhost Searching; Library Literature Online; N.H. Newspapers Online; and OCLC's WorldCat. The Modular Library Education courses are offered in various locations and have varying tuitions. Courses include: Cataloging Overview; The Reference Interview; Juvenile Non-Fiction Collection Development and Management; Programming for Children; and Puppetry Programming. In addition to State Library offerings, there are many other educational opportunities in New Hampshire.
