Reference Librarian: Part-time, 20-25 hours per week position. Successful candidate will share reference desk duties, collection development and other duties in a thoroughly automated public library. The library is a member of GMILCS and has many on-line databases. Hours are flexible and include some evenings and Saturdays. Salary is $13.60-$17.70 per hour, DOE. Prefer, but do not require MLS. Library Director: The Weeks Public Library of Greenfield, N.H. is seeking a qualified person to assume the position of library director. This is a full-time salaried position of the library's five member staff. Qualifications: An MA in library science from an accredited school; 2 years library experience; familiarity with library computer systems. Responsibilities: Building effective relationships with staff members, library patrons, the Board of Trustees, the Friends of the Library, and town officials; Managing the operation of the library; Maintaining the collection in accordance with the library's materials policy; Supervising professional staff and volunteer workers; Providing reference and advisory assistance to library patrons.
