EILEEN KEIM RETIRES
On January 31st, the staff of the N.H. State Library said farewell to Eileen Keim after 30 years of service to the blind and physically handicapped citizens of New Hampshire. Eileen began her career at the New Hampshire State Library in September 1969 and was the Supervisor of the Talking Books Section from its inception in 1970. Eileen accomplished a great deal during her years with the State Library as the head of Talking Books. Through her hard work, and the work of her staff, she built a loyal readership of more that 2,300 clients. It was gratifying for her to have many of the people she has helped over the years at the reception celebrating her years of service.
Eileen says she has plans to travel to Central America and hopes to take some Spanish courses in the coming months. We thank Eileen for her dedication and hard work; we wish her all the best. We hope she will come and visit us when she is not off to some exotic land. Enjoy your much-deserved retirement Eileen. |
