TRUSTEE AWARDS
John Barrett, LSTA/State Data Coordinator at the State Library, received the Dorothy Little Award for "...outstanding library service in the community and throughout the state...." The award was presented by the executive board of the New Hampshire Library Trustees Association (NHLTA) at its spring conference at the New Hampshire Technical Institute in Concord on May 28. Mr. Barrett represented the State Library on the NHLTA board for many years.
Other persons honored included:
Elizabeth Ives of the Derry Public Library, Trustee of the Year;
Michael Sullivan, Director at the Wiggin Memorial Library in Stratham, Librarian of the Year;
Timothy Butterworth, selectman of Chesterfield, Government Official of the Year.
Special awards went to:
Olga S. Brigham, a volunteer at the Wilton Public/Gregg Free Library, and
Nancy Black former trustee, treasurer and volunteer at the Richards Free Library in Newport.
