Daivd Sturges, a reference librarian at the N.H. State Library, announces the creation of the New Hampshire Library Jobline, a Web site hosted by the New Hampshire State Library. This site began operation on March 16, 1998 and will act as a central clearinghouse for library job listings within New Hampshire. It is hoped that this service will become a valuable resource for both employers and perspective employees. The Web site address is:

The site will include job listings for all education/experience levels and for all types of libraries in the state. it will be updated every Friday and will inlcude those listings received by the previous Wednesday. Library directors and trustees are strongly encouraged to send all job announcements to this central location. The options available for posting are listed below:
