Circulation Services Librarian. St. Paul's School (http://www.sps.edu), a co-educational boarding school located in Concord, N.H. seeks an experienced Circulation Services Librarian to administer all aspects of circulation services; manage and develop a fully automated circulation system (SIRSI); plan and oversee Reserve Room operations; supervise Library Assistants and student workers; provide reference services; and contribute to the collection development program. Master's degree from an ALA-accredited school. Strong liberal arts education and background. Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Supervisory experience. Knowledge of public services and experience with automated circulation services in an academic setting. Proficiency in use of microcomputers, software, and library computer applications. Ability to work enthusiastically and effectively with colleagues and academically motivated adolescent patrons in a demanding and rapidly changing environment. Some evening and weekend duties required. Twelve month position with competitive salary and excellent benefit package. Non-smoking campus. On site child care facility (based on availability). Creare, Inc., an engineering research and development firm in Hanover, has openings for the following positions: Research Librarian - experienced researcher will be required to perform on-line and Internet searchers, reference and acquisition services, and provide support to the library manager in the maintenance and enhancement of library services for a technical staff of 40 engineers. BA degree or MLS degree required, along with 2-3 years of relevant experience. Research Specialist - research/organizer with strong skills in handling information and the design of systems and procedures. An appropriate mix of information research, marketing, writing, and communication skills are needed. Individual will work with a small team of engineering staff on a variety of research assignments. Relevant work experience preferred. BS/BA degree required, but MLS preferred. Appropriate computer skills a must, including Internet searching. The successful candidate's skills will give final definition to the job.
