The Saul O Sidore Memorial Foundation, a private non-profit foundation based in New Hampshire, is very pleased to announce the award of the initial grant, under its program of grants in memory of the late Rebecca Lee Spitz of Hollis, to the Fuller Public Library of Hillsboro. The grant"...will be used to purchase instructional materials for adults who are learning to read or to improve their basic math and writing skills...." This will be an important part of the Library's Project LIFT.

The next review of grant applications under this program will take place at the Fall meeting of the Foundation. Applications for consideration at the meeting should be submitted to the Foundation at the address below by the beginning of October in order to allow for advance distribution to the Trustees. Although those interested are strongly urged to apply by that time, applications will be accepted until the beginning of November.
