The Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators (SCBWI) - New England will hold it's Annual Conference on Saturday, April 12th at the Center of New Hampshire in Manchester, N.H. The Theme is: Balancing Our Many Roles. Keynote speakers are author/illustrator Holly Keller as well as Ellen Fader (Chair 1998 Newbery Committee) and Steve Armitage (Caldecott Committee member). Workshop topics include time management, portfolio presentation, public speaking, self-publishing, desktop marketing, online services, and more.

Manuscript and Portfolio Critiques available throughout the day. Fee is $65 for SCBWI members, $75 for all others, critique fee $25 (optional).
