The NHewLINK contract for access to WorldCAT is due to expire June 30th, 2009. The state library will not be renewing the subscription to this database due to the current economic conditions and budget situation. The State Library has always worked very hard to provide access to the best information resources available to as many libraries as possible, so this has not been an easy decision to make.

We encourage libraries to use the free version of WorldCat, which is available at www.worldcat.org, to meet your informational needs.
