In this book he recounts his life involved with the outdoors. Throughout his career, he met many interesting & colorful characters. He has crossed trails with many famous men, such as President Eisenhower, William O. Douglas & Sherman Adams. Regarded as one of the state's leading outdoorsmen & an authority on search & rescue, his Northwoodsman column was a regular feature in north county papers.
