Whiteman, Olive (Muriel Frances Cole, Enfield, 1993) At her death, the author left behind stacks of handwritten manuscripts containing autobiographical stories & fictional writings based on her life. She grew up on an isolated farm in Grafton, N.H., married in 1925 at the age of 17, raised 7 children on a farm in Lebanon, N.H. The majority of the book tells of her life growing up on the farm.
