Shaw, Paul S. (the author, 1993) The author, a retired physician, spent 3 years photographing historic houses that were shown on the 1892 map of the town. This book provides a documentary history of 97 buildings (Colonials, Federals & Capes), giving such information as the dates the buildings were constructed, by whom, a record of all the owers with dates up to the present & a listing of remaining antique features. Where available, copies of old pictures of the building accompany current photographs. |
