The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak. This is an amazing, imaginative, and heart rending book about Nazi Germany with Death as the protagonist. This book was marketed in Zusak's native country, Australia, as an adult fiction, but it has been marketed here as a young adult book. It deserves both readers.
