New Hampshire Employment Security (NHES) will be hosting a targeted recruitment fair for the AT&T workers affected by the May 9th lay off. The fair will be held on May 14, 2008, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at the NHES Somersworth Office located at 243 Route 108 in Somersworth.

More than a dozen employers and agencies will be participating in the recruitment fair. They are all eager to connect with the affected AT&T workers. The NHES staff also reached out to our employer customers that might be seeking qualified individuals such as the AT&T workers, with positive results. With the recent layoffs ocurring around the state, more and more New Hampshire workers will need support services to pursue new employment opportunities.
