Economic Statistics

Economic statistics provide a foundation for analyzing the economic health of New Hampshire down to the local level. New Hampshire data is combined with data from the rest of the United States to build estimates of national employment and unemployment and the gross domestic product. The data collected by ELMI tracks ever-changing state and national occupational employment patterns-identifying growing and declining occupational opportunities, as well as industrial employment and wage trends.

Unemployment News Release
Monthly release of seasonally adjusted and not seasonally adjusted estimates of the number employed and the number unemployed in the state. The state unemployment rate is then calculated based on these numbers.
