Description
Lead Clearance Testing Technicians are individuals who conduct tests for the presence of lead in surface dust on floors, windowsills, or in window wells, or lead in soil of children's play areas or yards. They conduct visual examination of work areas following renovations, on-going maintenance, or interim controls immediately after clean-up activities, collect lead dust samples before or following work, interpret findings of the visual assessment and lead dust sampling, and prepare lead dust clearance reports.

Reciprocity: Permitted with individuals licensed by another state or the federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), provided the requirements for licensure and training are equivalent to or higher than requirements of this state
