Description
Travel from town to town or from place to place in the same town selling or bartering goods, or offering to perform personal services for household repairs or improvements, or keep a regular place of business and sell and deliver to another location. The following are exempted from this regulation: itinerant vendors; those who sell products of their own farm labor; anyone selling personal goods on their personal property; sales conducted by nonprofit organizations for the benefit of that organization; industry or association trade shows; or sellers of antique, used, or vintage goods.
Licensure Requirements
- Must apply for a license made upon blanks prepared by the Secretary of State requiring such information regarding the applicant's character and qualifications as the Secretary shall deem pertinent
- Licensees are permitted to do business in any city of town of this state providing the licensee complies with all local ordinances, bylaws, and regulations
- If an applicant not a natural person applies for a license under this chapter, the sum of $5,000 deposited with the Secretary of State in cash or surety bond is required
