Welcome!

Commissioner Brothers

Are you or someone you know out of work? We’re not just the “unemployment office”. NH Employment Security is one of the best kept secrets in state government. I want to change that! We help people find work, their first job or a better job. We help employers find candidates that meet their job specifications. We assist people to file for Unemployment Compensation benefits to sustain them through the hard times of job loss. Our Employment Counselors help people with their career choices, changes and career adjustment. And, if you are a veteran, you have preference in referral to our job postings.

ELMIB LOGONew Hampshire employers are on the cutting edge of technology and our award winning Economic and Labor Market Information Bureau provides the very foundation for their business decisions and economic growth. Our Economic and Labor Market Information Bureau produces over 18 economic and labor market publications every year, providing statistics and trends to New Hampshire employers, job seekers, legislators, career planners, and business leaders.

Information about the economy and the labor market, changes in the Unemployment Law, and legislative updates can be found in my quarterly newsletter distributed to every employer in New Hampshire with 15 or more employees.

Visit our agency locations today. You don’t have to be out of work to use our services. We’ve been serving Job Seekers and Employers since 1938. We operate a demand driven system responsive to your needs. Last year we assisted over 30,000 customers to find work. We’re working to keep New Hampshire working!
