| SITCON (Situation Control Team) |
| The New Hampshire Department of Corrections, SITCON is composed of a cross section of uniformed and non-uniformed staff that has been professionally trained to handle multiple situations. Whether it is a single suicidal inmate, a group of barricaded inmates, or a full fledged riot, these team members could be called upon to try to stabilize the situation. Each member is run through a thorough application process and background check before being required to complete a challenging training. The Team operates and trains in the FBI model of negotiations. They are our ultimate “less than lethal option.” |
