Commissioner Wrenn Sworn in for his Third Term

(Concord, NH) New Hampshire Department of Corrections Commissioner William L. Wrenn was sworn in for his third term during a short ceremony at the start of a monthly staff meeting. Commissioner Wrenn's nomination was approved on October 2, 2013 by the Governor and Executive Council.

Commissioner Wrenn first came to the Department in December 2005 after a thirty year career with the Hampton, New Hampshire Police Department.

Among his accomplishments during his previous appointment was the implementation of an overhaul of the state's parole statutes through the Justice Reinvestment Initiative, receiving legislative support for the construction of a new women's prison, and successfully managing the DOC's finances during challenging economic times.
