Minimum Security Inmate Missing From Transitional Housing Unit
(Manchester, N.H.) The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces that a minimum security inmate is missing from the Calumet Transitional Housing Unit in Manchester. On Sunday April 7, 2013, a regular population count was conducted and Leeland E. Eisenberg, 52 years old, was not in his room. He was placed on walkway status at approximately 3:00 pm.
Inmate Eisenberg is described as a white male, 5' 6", 220 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair. he was sentenced in Strafford County Superior Court to 3 1/2 to 7 years and began serving these sentences in the New Hampshire State Prison on May 6, 2010. He is eligible for parole on Augsut 6, 2013. His maximum release date is February 6, 2017.
The New Hampshire Department of Corrections Investgations Bureau and the New Hampshire State Police are investigating. Inmate Eisenberg is not considered armed.
