Inmate Missing from Halfway House
(Concord, NH) The New Hampshire Department of Corrections reports that a minimum security inmate is missing from the North End Transitional Housing Unit in Concord. On Wednesday March 14, 2012, Robbie Joseph Bunce, 25, of Hollis was given permission to leave the facility to seek employment. He failed to return as schedule at 1:10 p.m. and was placed on walkaway status.
Inmate Bunce is described as a white male, 71 inches tall, 160 pounds, with tattoos on his right and left forearms, left hand, and left leg. He is serving three concurrent 3 ½ - 8 year sentences for two arson convictions and one burglary conviction out of Hillsborough County Superior Court. He was admitted to the New Hampshire State Prison on December 18, 2008 and will be eligible for parole on June 14, 2012. His sentences will end on December 15, 2016.
New Hampshire State Police and the New Hampshire Department of Corrections Investigations Bureau are investigating. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call their local law enforcement agency or the New Hampshire State Prison at 603-271-1801.
