New Probation/Parole Chief for Carroll County

(Wolfeboro, N.H.) New Hampshire Department of Corrections Division of Field Services Director Michael McAlister announced that a veteran Corrections employee has been picked to head the Carroll County District Office in Wolfeboro.

Charles Wolfert began with the Department as a Corrections Officer in 1996. In 2000 he became a Corrections Counselor/Case Manager and he became a Probation/Parole Officer in March 2001. His most recent assignment was a Probation/Parole Officer in the Strafford County District Office in Dover.

Director McAlister said, “Chuck is a well rounded Corrections professional and he will be a positive addition to the Wolfeboro office.”

Chief Wolfert will manage an office with four employees that supervise over 250 offenders on probation and parole. He begins his new duties on December 30, 2011.
