Berlin Prison Recognizes its own

(Berlin, NH) The Department of Corrections held an employee appreciation ceremony at the Northern New Hampshire Correctional Facility on Tuesday July 13, 2010 and the following employees were recognized by their peers and by the facility for their hard work and dedication.

First Shift Officer of the Year – Corrections Officer Trevor S. Dube

Second Shift Officer of the Year – Corrections Officer Kathleen M. Arsenault

Third Shift Officer of the Year – Corrections Officer Edmond Johnsen, Jr

Non-Uniformed Employee of the Year – Corrections Counselor/Case Manager Carl E. Hill

Team of the Year – NCF Honor Guard members (Sgt. Yair A. Balderrama, CO Brenda L. Adam, Cpl. Keith G. Griffin, and Cpl. Dwane D. Sweatt)

Warden’s Award – Cynthia M. Keach-Qualls, Human Resources Coordinator

Warden Larry D. Blaisdell presented the awards. Also attending the ceremony were Commissioner William L. Wrenn and Assistant Commissioner William G. McGonagle.
