Department of Corrections Promotes Three to Probation/Parole Officers
(Concord, N.H.) New Hampshire Department of Corrections Division of Field Services Director Michael McAlister announced that three vacant Probation/Parole Officer (PPO) positions have been filled with three veteran Corrections employees.
Clayton LeGault, a Corrections Counselor/Case Manager (CC/CM) at the New Hampshire State Prison in Concord, was promoted to PPO for the Exeter District Office. Counselor LeGault was hired in November 1998 as a Corrections Officer and has worked as a Corrections Investigator, Unit Manager and a CC/CM.
Corrections Training Sergeant Valerie Brooks was tapped to be PPO for the Keene District Office. Sergeant Brooks began her career as an officer at the New Hampshire State Prison for Women in Goffstown in August 2000 and was promoted to Training Sergeant in 2007 where she was assigned to the Corrections Academy.
Corrections Officer Jennifer Walters was promoted to Probation/Parole Officer for the Claremont District Office. Officer Walters began working for the Department in June 1997. During that time she worked assignments at the Goffstown and Concord facilities.
“These three employees bring a wide range of skills and experience and I am pleased to welcome them to the Division of Field Services,” Director McAlister said.
All three promotions are effective July 2, 2010.
