Inmate Missing From Minimum Security Housing Unit
(Concord, N.H.) The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces that an inmate is reported missing from the Corrections Transitional Work Center in Concord and has been placed on escape status. Jonathan McKnight, 27, of Manchester, was present for the population count on Monday, April 5, 2010 at 11:00 p.m. but was not found in the building during the 1:30 a.m. count on Tuesday, April 6, 2010.
The inmate is described as a black male with brown eyes and black hair. He is 5’ 3” tall and weighs 140 pounds. He has a tattoo on his neck.
Inmate McKnight is serving a three to six year sentence for robbery from Rockingham County Superior Court. He entered the prison on May 13, 2008 and is eligible for parole on July 11, 2010 with a maximum release date of July 10, 2013.
The Department of Corrections Investigations Bureau and the New Hampshire State Police are investigating the incident. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call local law enforcement authorities or the Department of Corrections at 603-271-1804.
