New Chief Picked for Cheshire County District Probation/Parole Office
(Keene, N.H.) The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces that Scott S. Langevin, 39, was promoted to Chief Probation/Parole Officer at the Cheshire County Division of Field Services Office in Keene. Chief Langevin is a veteran state Probation/Parole Officer with sixteen years of professional law enforcement experience as a Corrections Officer and a Probation/Parole Officer. He was worked for more than ten years in Cheshire County.
Chief Langevin will manage a staff of five who are responsible for supervising approximately 800 offenders on probation, parole, Administrative Home Confinement, and other types of community supervision in Cheshire County.
Michael McAlister, Director of the Division of Field Services said, “Scott brings many years of experience and a familiarity with Southwestern New Hampshire to his new position, which is a benefit to the office and the people that it serves.
