Lakes Region Facility Recognizes its Own

(Laconia, NH) The Lakes Region Facility and the male transitional housing units recently held their annual Employee Recognition Ceremony. The annual event recognizes staff for their hard work in Corrections and coincided with National Correctional Employees Appreciation Week.

At the Lakes Region Facility (LRF), three Correctional Officers, one civilian employee, and a team of employees were recognized for their devotion to duty and hard work.

2008-2009 First Shift Officer of the Year: C.O. Rick Hardy
2008-2009 Second Shift Officer of the Year: Cpl. Michelle LaBelle
2008-2009 Third Shift Officer of the Year: C.O. Jonathan Boisselle
2008-2009 Non-Uniformed Employee of the Year: Kristina Toth, Program Administrator, Family Connections Center
2008-2009 LRF Team of the Year: First Shift

In the transitional housing units, a Corrections Officer and a civilian employee were recognized for their devotion to duty and hard work.

2008-2009 Non-Uniformed Employee of the Year: Corrections Counselor/Case Manager Larry Nice (Calumet Transitional Housing Unit, Manchester, NH)

Jane Coplan is the Warden at LRF. The facility’s current offender population is 170 minimum security male inmates. Approximately 240 offenders are housed in the male transitional housing units.
