Two Fugitives Arrested

(Nashua, N.H) The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces that a fugitive from probation was apprehended by Probation/Parole Officers in Nashua on September 5, 2008. Jared Burton Plamondon, 24, of Tilton was wanted for a technical probation violation out of the Department’s Laconia District Probation/Parole Office.

Nashua Probation/Parole Officers Eric Goyette, Keith Melanson, and Sterling Wheeler received information that Plamondon would be at the County Barn Campground in Nashua. At approximately 10:30 a.m., they arrived at the site, confirmed his presence, and apprehended him without incident.

Additionally, the officers apprehended Becky Hewes, 24, of Hudson upon learning she had an active arrest warrant from the Town of Salem. She was turned over to the custody of the Nashua Police Department. The officers also seized a variety of drug paraphernalia.

Plamondon was sentenced to two years probation in Hillsborough County Superior Court South on August 3, 2007 for a burglary. A warrant for a technical probation violation was issued on March 12, 2008. His whereabouts have been unknown since that date. He was transferred to the Hillsborough County House of Corrections.
