Minimum Security Inmate Reported Missing is Found

(Laconia, NH) The New Hampshire Department of Corrections announces that a minimum security inmate reported missing from the Lakes Region Facility on June 15, 2008 returned to the facility later in the evening.

Morgan James Kipper, 29, of Cambridge, Massachusetts was unaccounted for during the regular evening population count at approximately 9:20 p.m. The Department implemented the necessary procedures and notifications to search for him. At approximately 11:00 p.m., inmate Kipper was apprehended trying to enter his housing unit. He transferred to the New Hampshire State Prison for Men in Concord where the investigation is continuing.

Inmate Kipper is serving two concurrent 2 ½ - 5 year sentences for receiving stolen property out of Hillsborough County Superior Court in Nashua. He is eligible for parole on July 22, 2009 with a maximum release date of January 23, 2012.
