NH Dept. of Corrections Recognizes its Own in Goffstown
(Goffstown, NH) The New Hampshire Department of Corrections held its annual employee recognition ceremonies during New Hampshire Corrections Employees Appreciation Week. The events, which recognize staff at four prisons, four transitional housing units, and eleven district offices, were held at each facility.
At the NH State Prison for Women (NHSP/W), a Corrections Officer, a civilian employee, and a team of employees were recognized for their devotion to duty and hard work.

• 2007-2008 Civilian Employee of the Year: Maintenance Technician William LaVallee
• 2007-2008 Team of the Year: First Shift
Joanne Fortier is the Warden at NHSP/W. The facility manages a daily offender population of approximately 125 multi-security level females and oversees the operations of the Shea Farm Transitional Housing Unit in Concord. |
