Manchester Probation/Parole Office Gets New Chief
(Concord, NH) The New Hampshire Department of Corrections, Division of Field Services announces that veteran Probation/Parole Officer (PPO) Scott F. Harrington has been picked as Chief of the Manchester District Office. He currently carries a caseload in Manchester and will begin his new duties in January.
PPO Harrington is a fifteen year veteran of the Department of Corrections. He worked as a Corrections Officer at the NH State Prison in Concord, a Corrections Case Counselor/Case Manager at the Lakes Region Facility in Laconia, and became a Probation/Parole Officer in 1995.
“Scott comes highly qualified with a good mix of experience both behind the walls and in the community. He will do a good job in Manchester,” Michael McAllister, Director of the Division of Field Services, stated.
The Manchester District Office is located at 60 Rogers Street in Manchester. There are seventeen employees assigned to this office including eleven officers. It is responsible for supervising nearly 2,000 offenders on probation, parole, electronic monitoring, bail, and other forms of supervision in Northern Hillsborough County.
