New Probation/Parole Chief Picked for Grafton County

(North Haverhill, N.H.) The New Hampshire Department of Corrections Division of Field Services announces that a new Chief has been selected for the Grafton County District Probation/Parole Office in North Haverhill. Rudiger “Rudy” J. Grzanna, 38, assumed his new responsibilities on August 31, 2007.

Chief Grzanna is an eleven-year veteran of the New Hampshire Department of Corrections, having worked as a Prison Corrections Officer and later a Probation/Parole Officer. His previous assignment was to the Sullivan County District Office in Claremont. Chief Grzanna succeeds David Cady who became Chief of the Coos County District Office in Berlin.

The Grafton County District Office manages a caseload of approximately 1,000 offenders on probation, parole, Administrative Home Confinement (electronic monitoring), bail supervision, and restitution collection, as well as pre-sentence and criminal record annulment investigations. There are seven employees assigned to this office.
