NH Dept of Corrections Recognizes its Own in Berlin
(Berlin, NH) The New Hampshire Department of Corrections recently held its annual Employee Recognition Ceremonies. The events, which recognize staff at four prisons, three halfway houses, and eleven district offices, were held at each facility.
At the Northern New Hampshire Correctional Facility (NCF), three Correctional Officers, one civilian employee, and a team of employees were recognized for their devotion to duty and hard work.

• 2006-2007 Second Shift Officer of the Year: C.O. Rolfe Jensen
• 2006-2007 Third Shift Officer of the Year: Cpl. Jeffrey Smith
• 2006-2007 Civilian Employee of the Year: Executive Secretary Diane Bouthot
• 2006-2007 NCF Team of the Year: First Shift
The Department also awarded an Honorable Service medal to C.O. Jason Osgood for going above and beyond the call of duty to rescue a motorist from an overturned vehicle following a September 12, 2006 accident in Milan.
Larry D. Blaisdell is the Acting Warden at NCF. The facility manages a daily population of approximately 550 medium security male inmates.
The NHDOC recognized employees and teams of the year at all of its facilities and district offices. |
