NH Dept of Corrections Names SPU/RTU Administrator

(Concord, NH) The New Hampshire Department of Corrections, Division of Medical and Forensic Services, announces that Kevin R. Stevenson has been named the Administrator of the Secure Psychiatric Unit/Residential Treatment Unit located on the grounds of the New Hampshire State Prison in Concord.

Mr. Stevenson, 35, has ten years of mental health treatment and security experience with both the Department of Corrections and New Hampshire Hospital. His most recent assignment was that of a Psychological Associate in the New Hampshire State Prison’s outpatient unit.

He received an M.S. in Psychology from Abilene Christian University, Abilene, Texas.

The Residential Treatment Unit is to be implemented later this year to provide specialized mental health services for state-sentenced offenders.
