COMMISSIONER OF CORRECTIONS TO STEP DOWN
(Concord, NH) New Hampshire Department of Corrections Commissioner Phil Stanley announced that he would resign effective October 31, 2003. Commissioner Stanley submitted his letter of resignation to Governor Craig Benson today.
"For personal family reasons I have decided to resign. I will be rejoining my family in Seattle," Commissioner Stanley stated in his letter to the Governor.
He further stated, "For the past three and one half years it has been my pleasure to serve the Governor's office, the Executive Councilors, the employees of DOC, and the people of New Hampshire."
Commissioner Stanley's tenure began May 15, 2000 upon completion of 30 years of distinguished service with the Washington State Department of Corrections. |
