Welcome to the New Hampshire Department of Corrections official website.  This website is an informative database of knowledge.  It provides you with contact information, a synopsis of what we do, business opportunities, news about the agency, and historical data.

The New Hampshire Department of Corrections manages three state prisons, four transitional housing units, and twelve district Probation/Parole offices. It is responsible for incarcerating and changing the lives of over ten-thousand offenders. We are proud to declare that all of our facilities are fully accredited by the American Correctional Association. Few states can boast such an accomplishment.

The Department is comprised of employees who are dedicated to working with a strong commitment to integrity and professionalism. The 1,000 men and women come to work every day and carry out the mission of protecting the public while offering offenders the opportunity to improve themselves to prepare them for a successful reentry to society.
