Peter Sanborn (1808 - 1894)
Born at Deerfield (NH); died at Concord (NH).
New Hampshire career politician.

Presented to the State, 1887.
Peter Sanborn served in the militia, "acquiring the title of colonel". He served as Clerk of the New Hampshire Senate (1838/40), and represented Deerfield in the Legislature (1841/2). He moved to Concord in 1853. He served as State Treasurer (1857/71), and was described as "A man of strong ability and sterling integrity."
