A Moose Makes a Great Holiday Gift
This holiday season you can help conserve New Hampshire’s natural, historical and cultural resources by purchasing a gift certificate for New Hampshire’s Conservation License Plate, affectionately known as the “Moose Plate.”
All funds raised through the Conservation License Plate program directly support programs that promote, preserve and invest in New Hampshire’s cultural and heritage resources.
Since 2001, more than 150 projects around New Hampshire have benefitted from the sale of “Moose Plates,” including the Cheshire Railroad Depot, the Pondicherry Wildlife Refuge, the Brookline Trails Improvement Project, restoration projects for both the peregrine falcon population and native wildflowers across the state, and many other projects that help keep New Hampshire special.
“Moose Plate” gift certificates are available online at www.nh.gov/safety/divisions/dmv/forms/rdmv135.pdf. You can also buy your own Conservation License Plate at your town or city clerk’s office when you register your car.
