Registration open for arts educators’ event

Writers, artists and educators are invited to register for an upcoming profession development event, “Follow the Passion: An Exploration of the Arts, Literacy & Creativity in Education,” presented by the N.H. State Council on the Arts and the Arts Alliance of Northern New Hampshire, in partnership with the Kearsarge Regional School District.

The event takes place Friday, May 28, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kearsarge Regional High School in North Sutton, N.H. Attendees will learn about new educational resources that support poetry, dance, and interdisciplinary studies. Author Rebecca Rule will facilitate the day’s events, which will feature multi-media presentations and conversations with award-winning poet and educator Wesley McNair and dancer, artist-educator, visual artist, and poet Katherine Ferrier.

Early bird registration is available; for more information about the event or to register, visit www.aannh.org.
