ARTS JOBS: PUTTING NEW HAMPSHIRE TO WORK
The deadline for Arts Jobs grant applications is May 8, 2009 (postmark deadline). Funding for this special grant comes from the National Endowment for the Arts through the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA) and is part of the NH Recovery effort.
Because these are special, one-time grants that are part of the national economic stimulus effort there are unique features to the guidelines and reporting requirements. A grant information session will be held Tuesday, April 21 at 3:00 p.m. at the State Arts Council’s office in Concord. The presentation will last about an hour, followed by time for answering any questions that come up. Register in advance by calling 271-2789. All organizations that are eligible for an Arts Jobs grant should already have received information from the Arts Council; if you are unsure about whether your organization qualifies, contact Chief Grants Officer Cassandra Erickson at 271-7926 or cassandra.erickson@dcr.nh.gov.
