Arts Bank Collection
The New Hampshire State Arts Council’s Arts Bank collection was established in the 1980s. Artworks in this collection are available on loan to state agencies for display in public spaces of state buildings for the benefit of New Hampshire citizens.

If your agency would like to borrow an artwork or artworks from the Arts Bank, please fill out the Arts Bank application below. Artwork will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

If state agencies currently have artwork from the Arts Bank collection and wish to return it or rotate it for another piece, please contact Carey Johnson at carey.a.johnson@dncr.nh.gov or 271-0792.
Once the artwork is installed, the following loan conditions will apply:
- The Borrowing Agency shall exercise the same care and handling with the loaned artwork/s as it does in the safekeeping of comparable property of its own.
- No repairs or other actions may be undertaken on the artwork by the Borrowing Agency without approval from the State Arts Council, including moving of the object.
- In the event that a loan item is damaged, destroyed, lost, or stolen, the Borrowing Agency shall give the Arts Council immediate notice. The report of damage or loss should provide a description of the extent and circumstances surrounding the mishap.
