Artist Rosters, Directories & Archives

NH Artist Roster
The NH Artist Roster is a resource for local presenters, schools, libraries, community organizations, municipalities, civic organizations, businesses and nonprofit agencies. These groups access the Roster to identify artists for community and school residencies, performances, exhibitions, workshops, teacher training, community projects, master classes and lecture-demonstrations. The Roster also helps to increase employment opportunities for professional New Hampshire artists.

Arts in Health Care Artist Directory
The Arts in Health Care Artist Directory contains information on experienced professional artists who are available for artist in residency programs offered in health care institutions.

Traditional Arts & Folklife Listing
The Traditional Arts & Folklife Listing contains information on traditional artists who are available for presentations, demonstrations, performances, and workshops on various aspects of traditional arts and culture.

MatchBook.org
MatchBook.org is New England’s online cultural marketplace that sparks connections between artists, presenters, and communities. Make the Match! Book the Performance!

Traditional Music Collection
The Traditional Music Collection promotes recordings of traditional music made by New Hampshire musicians. This searchable database is part of the New Hampshire Folklife web site. Recordings can be sorted by a variety of musical traditions, by the title of the recording, or by the artist's or group’s name. Each entry provides information on how to contact the group, artist, or their representative directly to order a copy of the recording.

Statistical Information on Artists in New Hampshire
Artists are an important part of our "creative economy". Statistics on the impact of our creative sector are compiled by a variety of organizations. Visit these websites:

NH Artist Archives
The NH Artist Archives is a joint project between the NH State Council on the Arts and the New Hampshire State Library, that seeks to collect, preserve, index and provide access for researchers to the history of the arts in New Hampshire. Among the materials deposited at the NH Artist Archives are the papers and a collection of prints by the late Herbert Waters (1903-1996).
