New Hampshire Artists’ Hotline
Helpful advice about services and resources for the professional artist


Starting on March 20, 2009 the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts will offer a toll free hotline for New Hampshire professional artists seeking advice during these tough economic times.

The Hotline will be receiving calls on Mondays from 9 to 11 a.m and Fridays from 1 to 3 p.m. at 1-888-309-9555. Please note, the Hotline will be closed the week of May 18.

Some examples of the advice given:

• Healthcare for artists
• Artist spaces
• Risk Management
• Professional development opportunities
• Current calls for artists
• Networking and using social media
• Legal resources
• Emerging artist issues

Artists are encouraged to share their own advice on the New Hampshire Artists’ Hotline Facebook page.

The Hotline is a pilot program and will be operational until June 19, 2009.
