Call for Teaching Artist

This is a unique community-based opportunity from the NH Family Connections Center for a teaching artist to work for a few days with an experienced artist, in a corrections setting in Concord, NH.  

The submission deadline is July 8, 2014.

The Children of Incarcerated Parents summer camp is seeking a NH Teaching Artist to assist incarcerated fathers and their children in creating a life-sized mural.  The dates of the camp are August 19-21, 2014 from 8 am to 4 pm, each day with an additional 4 hours of training/planning in advance.  The stipend is $500, inclusive of mileage to the NH State Prison for men in Concord, NH.  Please send application, cover letter and resume to:  Kristina Toth at email to ktoth@nhdoc.state.nh.us or  PO Box 14, Concord, NH 03302.

The Teaching Artist position is funded in part through a collaborative partnership effort with the NH State Council on the Arts.
