Arts Education Workshops & Seminars

The State Arts Council sponsors workshops that bring people together to explore new ways to learn through the arts and support the professional development needs of educators and teaching artists.

Evaluating Your Arts Programs, an introduction -A free spring workshop offered by NH State Council on the Arts
Friday, May 15, 2015    10 am– 3 pm Plymouth State University (PSU) Graduate Center, 2 Pillsbury St, 5th Floor, Concord, NH 03301
 
Registration: Pre-registration is required and we will accept registrations on a first-come, first-served basis

This workshop will help you find authentic ways to evaluate the joy, arts learning, and creativity in your school, youth arts projects and creative
youth development. The workshop will include an overview of the Logic Model, an introduction to evaluation methods, applying the Logic Model with examples and small group work. The workshop will be valuable for anyone writing a grant or improving and supporting youth arts and creative youth development work, or developing funding proposals. The workshop will include resources, handouts and certificates of attendance. Workshop Leader: Maren Brown, MBA and Principal of the arts consulting firm, Maren Brown Associates. Maren is a painter with over 25 years of experience in the field of arts management, working in museums and higher education. She is the co-editor of the 5th and 6th editions of Fundamentals of Arts Management.
