Requests for Proposals: Percent for Art
The State Arts Council announces Requests for Proposals for two Percent for Art projects that will bring art into public spaces of state owned buildings and facilities. The Percent for Art Program was enacted by the New Hampshire Legislature in 1979 to ensure that all forms of visual arts and crafts have an integral and important role in state construction projects. Qualified artists are invited to submit proposals for:

            Arts Bank Collection: Existing Two-Dimensional Artwork

            Hampton Beach State Park Redevelopment Project

  • Deadline: Postmarked or delivered by May 28, 2010
  • On-Site Informational Meeting: May 7,10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Hampton Beach State Park (walking tour starts at South Beach)
  • Request for Proposals

 
Spotlight on Grantee Events

Premier of work by 2010 Fellow Jonathan Santore
Jonathan Santore’s new orchestral composition, “Lucky Sevens,” will be premiered in concerts at the end of the month. At these concerts, the New Hampshire Master Chorale, along with the Plymouth State University Chamber Singers, will be performing Mozart's Mass in C Minor. The concerts will be on Friday, April 30 at 8 p.m. at St. Paul's Church in Concord, and on Saturday, May 1 at 8 p.m. at Plymouth Congregational Church in Plymouth.
