December 18, 2007: Pricing Your Work:  For What It's (You're) Worth
How do you price a work of art or fine craft so as to cover your costs, earn a reasonable wage and still make it accessible to interested customers?  If you struggle with this question, rest assured that you are not alone!  Please join Theresa Kirby, former business manager of Muddy Bird Pottery, for an informal discussion of common dilemmas in pricing creative products and services.  Topics covered will include practical strategies for developing a pricing formula and the challenges of reconciling your needs with those of the market.  Artists at all stages of their career should find this workshop useful.
